Summary
The Clocktower appears in the level Mad Monster Mansion as part of the church area. The tower may be scaled for access to some collctable items and a vantage point to view the rest of the level from.
Appearance
The Clocktower is a tall, squarish structure that appears to be constructed from brown and gray stones of irregular sizes and shapes, between which grows sort of green moss or lichen. The flatter protruding areas of the tower are made from some type of brown and gray stone, and the spire is covered in terracotta-colored roof tiles or shingles. A weather vane is placed upon the spire.
The clock has four faces, each aligned 45° off the cardinal directions, as indicated by the weather vane atop the spire. Curiously, none of the faces have hands to denote time, neither as part of the texture nor as separate objects.
The southeastern face has a square hole cut into it to allow access to the turret atop the tower. This difference in geometry may be responsible for that face's slight vertical compression. Despite appearing to lead directly into where the clock's mechanisms would be, the player is effectively teleported to a corresponding opening on the turret, thus any information regarding the Power and Oscillation of the clock itself can only be speculated on.
