Original Descirption:A medium sized map recomended for 4 to 10 people. This is one of my first ideas for a map and after going through a complete concept change and a computer crash its finaly done. This map works great for Murder, TTT, and sandbox. Prophunt wont work because of the lack of physics props. Enjoy.

The view from spawn.

Looking backwards to the exit.

Left and right views of the directory.
All of these logos are taken from the Left 4 Dead level Liberty Mall.

To the left of spawn is a little shop called World Roast, a fictional café.

Front entrance.

Interior.

Behind the counter.

One of the coffee machines. The mugs spawn in like that.

Condiment station and view of a poster for a children's animated film festival also taken from Left 4 Dead.

To the right of spawn is Quiktrip, a fictional convenience store.

interior.

Empty shelves.

The soda fountain. I sure could go for some green right now.

Behind the counter.

Some benches overlooking the main atrium.

There are bathrooms on each side of the shops.

A look at the mall's two staricases.

The view outside the smaller staricase's window.

Looking up and down the Central staircase.

The top and bottom of the elevators.

Yuuka for scale.

In the center of the atrium is what I can only presume to be an empty fountain or pond, but without anything to indicate it is such.

A nondescript Kiosk.

OrangeByte, a fast food restaurant.

The metal door behind the counter leads to this tiny storage area.

The metal door within the store room leads to a walk-in freezer of about the same size. Note the small, rectangular object in the bottom right corner.

Pin Photo Gallery. Not sure if this is supposed to be a print shop or something. An actual art gallery in a mall feels out of place.

The Michaelsoft Store, purveyors of mediocre laptops.

A Sasaki Wireless kiosk for shitty phones.

Façade BOOM! Cinema. The author just sort of slapped awkwardly stretched Orange Box images instead of any real movie posters, for some reason.

View from wihin the ticket booth.

Interior views of the Cafe Baltic concession stand. They appear to be selling jars of preservatives.

Double doors to the left reveal a short hallway that provides access to behind the concession stand.

Going further left leads to the first theater, which is mirrored on the right side of the cinema. Unfortunately, the actual theaters are not modeled and the doors do not open. I appreaciate the use of the HL2 achievement icon to denote the trash can.

An unassuming corridor behind Pin and Michaelsoft. However, remember that little rectangle in the freezer I told you to remember? Pressing it makes an activation sound, and if we return to this corridor...

...a secret path has opened!

Some ammo boxes greet you. The panel on the wall will close the entrance behind you.

Following the hallway to the right leads to this cozy little dev room, complete with a fireplace.

The credits panel, with some year-appropriate YouTuber mentions.

On the wall to the left of it is a behind-the-scenes look at the map during development in the Hammer editor. Always love when mapmakers include this.

Yuuka enjoying the fire. Seems like the mapmaker is an OSU fan.

On the opposite wall are four completely empty bookshelves. God knows why.

The finishing touch are these two teleporters, denoted by color.

Going through the red one will appropriately teleport you to this red platform on the right awning overlooking the atrium.

As you might guess, the green teleporter leads to the opposite awning.

Several out of bounds views.
That's about all there is to this map. A consequence of listening to Vaporwave (particularly Mallsoft) is my infatuation with dead malls, which draws me to maps like this and in general, empty places which should otherwise be full of people. Digital facsimiles of these locations provide excellent opportunities to immerse myself in that sort of vibe.
